EYELID REDUCTION
People who suffer from laxity in the skin of the upper eyelid often describe a heavy feeling affecting their eyes. Such skin laxity may inappropriately convey a tired appearance that does not reflect how they feel.
Fortunately, treatment for this concern is now available for those interested in a solution.
Surgical correction of the redundant skin, also known as blepharoplasty, is an effective procedure to help resolve this laxity. Upper lid blepharoplasty is an outpatient surgery that can be carried out under local anesthesia.
Recovery is generally rapid and sutures are most commonly removed after just one week.
The results can be dramatic with a lighter, brighter and more energetic appearance returning to the eyes. This simple enhancement to a patient's eyes can often restore their sense of self-confidence in their appearance!
If you feel you may benefit from upper lid blepharoplasty, we would be pleased to meet with you at Park Dermatology for consultation so we can recommend the procedure that may be best suited to your specific concerns.
